Mothanna Hussein

Mothanna Hussein, a Palestinian-Jordanian artist based in Amman, blends visual art, graphic design, and digital innovation. His work explores Arabic culture and language in modern contexts.

In 2015, Hussein co-founded Turbo with Saeed Abu-Jaber, a multidisciplinary studio in Amman that doubles as a workspace and exhibition venue.

Turbo embodies Hussein's vision of collaborative design and has become a key player in Jordan's creative scene.

Hussein's art merges traditional Arabic calligraphy with digital techniques.

He crafts 3D objects, especially jewelry, using calligraphic experiments, transforming 2D script into wearable art.

His project "Allah1.net" explores the word "Allah" through various graphic interpretations, mixing technical skill with spiritual themes.

Hussein's work focuses on manipulating light, texture, and materiality to create realistic artificial scenes. His attention to detail and ability to visualize the impossible have earned him recognition.

He plans to explore filmmaking, expanding his artistic range.

Throughout his career, Hussein has celebrated Arabic language and culture, bridging calligraphic traditions with digital design.

His art preserves cultural heritage while pushing it into the future.
