Chedine Tazi

Self-taught mixed media artist Chedine creates from her base in Marrakesh, though her journey from Rabat has taken her through Canada, London, and crucially to Ethiopia, where painting became her lifeline for processing depression and the realities of war. Her work, deeply influenced by her Atlantic upbringing, often features jellyfish as haunting symbols of emotional turbulence, their ethereal forms capturing both the grace and menace of mental states.
