Ham Robati is a creative director and designer whose journey began in Casablanca in 2012. His work spans music and visual arts, contributing to Morocco's creative landscape. Ham co-founded the cultural clothing brand GAUNT and the record label VIV, projects that have played a role in shaping contemporary Moroccan artistic expression.

THE ARTIST

Ham Robati

Ham Robati is a multifaceted creative director and designer whose journey began in 2012 with the inception of glitch and experimental music events and music projects, alongside captivating visual experiences in Casablanca.

In 2015, he co-founded the clothing brand GAUNT, driven by a passion for celebrating Moroccan culture and heritage.

A year later, in 2017, he ventured into the realm of music further by establishing the record label and collective VIV.

Robati's knack for shaping cultural aesthetics blossomed in 2018 when he embarked on a transformative collaboration with Moroccan artist ISSAM, serving as his image and art director and manager, while also co-founding the dynamic art space, gallery, and residency, Khial Nkhel.

Expanding his creative horizons, Robati co-founded Studio Peripheria, a cutting-edge creative agency based in Marrakech and Los Angeles, from 2018 to 2021.

During this time, his talents caught the attention of Universal Music France, where he served as a designer and art director, leaving an indelible mark on various labels.

In 2022, Robati took a leap of faith, establishing his personal studio in Marrakech, where he embarked on a diverse array of projects, ranging from curating music events and festivals to nurturing emerging artists and launching brands, all while curating unique lifestyle experiences.

The following year saw Robati's involvement in the electrifying venture, L'Envers, where he played a pivotal role in its development and direction. Alongside this endeavor, he founded LVR Culture, the creative force behind L'Envers and a host of other innovative projects, cementing his status as a visionary force in the cultural landscape.
